Look Up! Natural Porto Art Show is a project committed to sustainability which aims to create artistic, cultural and social links in Porto. It was conceived by the Spanish curator David Barro, the artistic director of the project, and the gallery owner Fernando Santos, both project managers. Through art, architecture and design, this project intents to establish the public space as a territory for art intervention, as well as to use emblematic buildings of the city for this purpose. Another aim is to understand art as a service for the community of a specific place, and also to question the society in which we live.

Look Up! Natural Porto Art Show intends to make people aware of the social, economic and environment benefits which should make us work within sustainable standards. In fact, a series of reflections on the implications of acting sustainably are gathered in the books which are produced for this event. Besides, Look Up! exhibitions will tackle the problem of people immersed in the abyss of contemporaneity and they will try to analyse how the human being lives in contemporary spaces and the consequences of these actions.
